Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

SCP 5 - 6 (£23,500 - £23,893 pro rata)

The Governors of St Julian's Primary are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and professional Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to support the class teacher and children with additional learning needs. The successful candidate will be required to work under the guidance of the Head Teacher/class teacher and be committed to helping each child achieve their full potential and be sensitive to their needs.

You will need to have excellent literacy and numeracy skills as well as good communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to the overall care and development of all pupils.

This is a fixed term post to 31 July 2024 with an immediate start. The successful applicant would be required to work from 8.30 a.m. until 3.30 p.m. (term time). Holidays must be taken during school closure periods.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
