DescriptionColeg Sir Gar have an exciting opportunity for a Registry Administrator to join our busy registry team on a permanent basis, based at our Graig Campus in Llanelli.

The Graig Campus is the largest of the five campuses of Coleg Sir Gâr and is based close to the village of Pwll on the South West Wales coast in Llanelli. With views over the neighbouring Gower peninsula, the Campus is a great place to work and study with a range of well-resourced teaching facilities and the Hwb, a contemporary designed student area for personal support and learning.

About the RoleAs a registry administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the collection and supply of further and higher education data, of which the College is funded and its performance monitored. The role will give the successful candidate an excellent insight into the registry department where you will work closely with various departments across Coleg Sir Gar and Coleg Ceredigion.

The main responsibilities are to assist with the enrolment process of learners at The College. You will also collect and enter data for The College all external awarding and funding bodies, accuracy is key to ensure accurate data is maintained at all times. You will also assist with administration of registry and examination procedures, including receipt and distribution of exam results and certificates.

What you will needTo be successful in the role, you will need:
  • Relevant experience of administration
  • Appropriate qualifications to level 3, or equivalent experience
  • An excellent communicator and able to work as a team
  • Highly organised, ability to work under pressure and competence in the use of IT systems
Whilst it is not essential, experience of using databases for handling data and an understanding of FE/HE Education would be desired.
