The Governors of Glasllwch Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Head Teacher to take over from the current post holder who is retiring after over two decades of leadership at the school.

Glasllwch is a very successful school; it was awarded top outcomes by Estyn in its 2008, 2014 and 2019 Inspections and its staff make significant contributions to the wider educational sector in Wales. It is also a happy and inclusive school, which values and nurtures the potential of all pupils.

As a Governing Body, we are committed to appointing a Head Teacher who:

- Will recognise what a special place Glasllwch is and will have a clear vision for building upon its many successes.
- Has a proven track record of raising standards and of successfully leading whole school initiatives.
- Has the experience to continue to develop Glasllwch as a centre of excellence within the region.

- Can articulate a vision for continuing to develop Glasllwch as an inclusive school that values every individual and develops the whole child.
- Possesses excellent leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills and who embodies the personal and professional standards that this role requires.
