Pembrokeshire College has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Specialist Additional Learning Needs Manager to join a college that puts learning, teaching and student success first. Salary Details: BS34-37 £38,774 - £41,807 per annum

This is a 4-point incremental scale with progression to each point on an annual basis. C ommencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College's starting salaries matrix.
Hours of Work:Full Time- 37 hours per week

Contract Type:Salaried. Permanent

Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per annum, plus statutory bank holidays & college efficiency closures

Qualifications: A relevant professional qualification at minimum level 5 is essential.; A level 5 accredited teaching qualification is desirable. If not held, the College will support with achieving this within an agreed timescale

Experience: It is essential to have knowledge and experience of promoting the needs and legal entitlements of individuals protected by the Equality Act 2010; and those specifically with ALN, specific learning difficulties and/or disabilities. It is desirable to have experience of managing and training staff in this area and providing expert advice within an organisational context.
Details: If you are the successful applicant you will lead on the development and achievement of the College's strategic Additional Learning Needs vision and further strengthen a diverse and inclusive culture across all College staff and learners. You will manage and drive forward the College's operational ALN provision, ensuring that appropriate levels of learning, communication and visual support, advice and guidance are provided for college learners with Additional Learning Needs, specific learning difficulties and/or disabilities, and those who are protected by the Equality Act 2010.
Your specialist and management skills will enhance the learning experience for all College learners and ensure legislative compliance for the College in the complex area of ALN. You will ensure appropriate levels of support are provided for those learners protected by the Equality Act 2010, the Additional Learning Needs Act 2018 and the Additional Learning Needs Code 2022.
