The students, staff and governors at The John Frost School are looking for two inspirational, forward-thinking practitioners with proven leadership skills to come and work as Deputy Headteachers at our school. We want Deputy Headteachers who will inspire and support an enthusiastic team, be excellent and innovative teachers, communicate well with all stakeholders and play an active part in our community centered school. One Deputy Headteacher will lead on wellbeing, and the other Deputy Headteacher will lead on curriculum. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate they are ready for a new challenge in our continually improving school.
We are looking for two Deputy Headteachers who:
are excellent role models and effective at leading, motivating and supporting a team
have a proven record of improving student wellbeing
have the ability to lead teaching and learning ensuring there are exciting, creative, challenging and empowering learning opportunities throughout the school
have proven ability as a creative and inspirational practitioner with a commitment to high standards
are an excellent team worker, able to work alongside other senior leaders within the school
have experience of the day-to-day management of a school
have resilience, energy, flexibility, enthusiasm and motivation
have highly effective leadership skills
are able to fully embrace community partnerships and play an active role in fostering good links with parentsThe Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
