Job description
We are recruiting a School Crossing Patrol at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 6 hours 15 minutes per week
Contract Type: Permanent, term time only
Location: Bryn Primary School, Pontllanfraith, Blackwood
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Road Safety Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £3,401.77 - £3,458.66 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of the safe crossing of pupils and other pedestrians at a specific location going to and from school, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
The post is for a School Crossing Patrol Monday to Friday for Bryn Primary School which will consist of two shifts per day, one at the beginning of the school day and one at the end. The crossing site is situated sited Forest Hill/Bryn Lane, Pontllanfraith, Blackwood.
You will comply with our policies and ensure regulations are adhered to, within the School Crossing Patrol Guidelines and Handbook.
You must be an effective communicator and will be expected to liaise with management, parents, learners and the school successfully.
