Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistants, Flintshire

New Directions Education
New Directions Education are seeking to recruit Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistants (TA’s) to work within schools situated throughout the Flintshire area on a supply basis.
As one of the preferred suppliers for educational staff in the Flintshire area, we would be able to provide a wide variety of placements in both Primary and Secondary Welsh medium schools.

The ideal candidate would:
• Be enthusiastic and confident in supporting children’s educational and social development.
• Assist the class teacher with preparations and activities.
• Have a passion in promoting the Welsh language.
We are looking for individuals who are flexible with their working hours and are confident in assisting classroom teachers with preparations and activities to ensure all pupils are working to the best of their ability.
All though a qualification within the educational field would be beneficial, it is not essential. However previous experience of working with children in any environment is needed.

A large number of our jobs are within the ALN sector. We fill many vacancies in schools with candidates who have the right experience and qualifications.
To work in an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) role you will need:
• Ideally experience working in an ALN environment or from a care background
• An excellent track record
• Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.
• We are always looking for candidates who have particular experience in working with children classified as having:
• Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Dyslexia
• Dyspraxia
• Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)
• Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
• Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
• Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
• Severe Learning Difficulties
• Physical Disabilities (PD).
