The Headteacher and Governing Body of Shirenewton Primary School wish to appoint an excellent practitioner. We are a happy school, with 200 pupils on roll and a dedicated team of teaching and support staff. We are excited for the future of education in Shirenewton. We are keen to appoint a teacher who will help us to continue to build on the school’s successes; who will work as a proactive and productive part of our team to achieve and maintain high standards; and who will inspire, motivate, nurture and support our pupils, and each other. This is an excellent opportunity to join our school at an exciting stage in our improvement journey. The successful applicant will be key to realising the school’s mission of ‘learning together, achieving for life’ for all of our children.
Shirenewton Primary School is committed to supporting staff in realising their full potential; this includes a commitment to work collaboratively both within our school and with other schools and to be part of an exciting journey as the school progresses further.
We are looking for someone with a passion for making a real difference to the lives of children in our community. You could be the one for us, if you:
- are a caring, reflective and excellent practitioner who truly places the wellbeing of all children at the heart of your practice
- have a passion for teaching and learning, and high aspirations for all pupils
- have high expectations for all pupils to make progress
- design, plan and provide authentic teaching and learning for your pupils
- are enthusiastic about your own and others’ professional development
- have a high level of organisational skills, including the ability and commitment to work as part of our team
- work proactively with adults in the environment, ensuring that they make the most of opportunities to enable learning to take place
- can commit to and contribute to the wider life of the School
¬
We can offer:
- happy, excited and engaging pupils who enjoy coming to school to learn
- a dynamic and forward thinking SLT supporting the wellbeing of all
- a supportive, welcoming and dedicated team
