Pillgwenlly Primary School is a large, vibrant multi cultural primary school where both staff and pupils thrive. Pillgwenlly has a fully inclusive approach to education with a full time Nurture setting and a Learning Resource Base.
Pillgwenlly is an extremely exciting school to work in and is due to move to a new school site in January 2025.
The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Teachers, who are committed to children's wellbeing, learning and the raising of standards. The posts will commence on 1st September 2024.
The successful candidate:
Can meet teaching and learning standards while ensuring that learning is creative for all children;
Have an excellent understanding of Primary Education (Nursery to Year 6) and ALN;
Have excellent teaching, organisational and communication skills;
Will be enthusiastic, flexible and imaginative;
Will be inspirational, dedicated and passionate about teaching;
Work effectively as part of a large hard working team;
Have the ability to build excellent relationships with parents and the wider school community;
Have experience of supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
You will need to be EWC registered.
Closing date for applications Monday 8th April at 12 noon
