About the role
Salary: Teachers Pay Scales (£30,742 - £47,340 per annum) and SEN allowance 1.

We are looking for an excellent teacher to teach in Canolfan y Don, to start in May, during the Summer term 2024 or the earliest possible date afterwards.

Applications are invited from a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with suitable experience and understanding.

The Teacher will work under the direction of the Head teacher and ALNCo at the school. Canolfan y Don caters for pupils in the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 who have severe learning, physical and/or medical difficulties.

Canolfan y Don offers a caring location with full access to learning activities which will be suitably differentiated to the individual needs of the pupils. Each pupil has access to individually tailored programs to meet his/her needs. Pupils are integrated into mainstream education where appropriate.

The Teacher will be able to teach excellent lessons and will have the ability to create meaningful relationships and inspire pupils with severe difficulties.
