Uwch Diwtor Sgiliau / Senior Skills Tutor

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council
Fixed Term until 31st March 2025

The post will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the training program at Compass Community Hub within the Shared Prosperity Fund. It will provide support and guidance to subject tutors, overseeing the quality of provision from a delivery perspective.

They will also deliver a variety of learning pathways for participants at Compass Community Hub which will include informal and formal courses and workshops in a variety of subjects.

Responsibility for a cohort of learners who may have varied and challenging needs and supporting subjects tutors to get the best from these learners.

Promoting and marketing the facility to attract people to engage in a variety of skills training.

Creating strong link with awarding and the projects quality officer to ensure any learning delivered is of a high quality and meets standards set.
