Job description
Pantside Primary is seeking to appoint a Teacher to work as part of a friendly, hard-working team.

Pantside Primary School caters for children between the ages of 3- 11. Highly regarded school by parents, Governors and professionals alike and sits within a very inclusive community.

We are committed to providing a highly individualised and inclusive education to all our pupils at Pantside, with an emphasis on meeting their individual needs and developing their strengths and interests within a highly supportive and engaging learning environment.

Pupils are looking to appoint a teacher who is:

Governors are looking to appoint a teacher who is:
  • Outstanding classroom practitioner and the ability to motivate and engage young learners with a wide range of learning needs;
  • Inspiring, creative, caring and full of enthusiasm;
  • Up to date with knowledge of the Curriculum Reform and the ALN code for Wales;
  • Proactive in own professional learning;
  • Knowledgeable of the United Conventions of the Rights of the Child and have good systems of pastoral care, including pupil empowerment;
  • Highly motivated and hold equally high expectations of our children's achievements, their behaviour and skill development;
  • Flexible, well organised and be able to confidently lead and work within a team, with a proven track record;
  • Able to effectively work together as members of our strong whole school team and contribute fully to the life of the school including extracurricular activities;
  • Able to establish and maintain positive relationships with our parents and carers, members of our Governing Body and our wider community;
  • Able to effectively use digital platforms to enhance and share our children's learning;
  • Fully committed to promoting Welsh 2 nd Language and the well-being of our pupils;
