Teacher in Charge (Specialist Centre) (Ysgol Bro Tawe)
Job description
The Authority is seeking to appoint, a qualified teacher to take responsibility for a Specialist Centre to cover a maternity leave.
The centre is part of the specialist provision provided by the Authority, hosted by mainstream schools. The centre provides support for learners with ASD and diagnosed social communication difficulties.
The centre meets the needs of learners with significant ALN, providing intensive periods of effective education in partnership with the children's class/subject teachers.
The successful applicant will be a qualified classroom teacher with experience in working with children with ASD. Additional qualifications in working with learners with ALN, would be an advantage. Further details are provided within the job description and person specification.
