Freelance Assessor in Health and Social Care
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Freelance Assessor in Health and Social Care. As a Freelance Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments of individuals working towards vocational qualifications in the health and social care sector. You will play a crucial role in evaluating learners' competency against industry standards, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their professional development.
Salary Banding: Competitive
Base: Remote/Flexible
Contract type: Freelance.
What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Delivering apprenticeship qualifications to employed status learners.
• Providing a quality learning experience and journey
• Supporting learners to successfully achieve their qualifications in a timely fashion.
• Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of agreed performance targets.
What skills and experience are we looking for in potential applicants?
Essential criteria
• Experience of delivery within the required area of training
• Experience of Work-Based Learning
• Experience of Award Body Practices
• ESW Communication Level 2
• ESW Application of Number Level 2
• Occupational experience within the route of delivery.
• Apprenticeship delivery experience with the route of delivery.
• Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
• A1 Assessor Award or equivalent qualification
• Assessor experience
Desirable criteria
• City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in supporting adults and young people in essential skills (or willing to work towards)
