Dewstow Primary School is seeking to employ a cheerful, organised, experienced and dedicated School Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be working in the School Office supporting all members of the School Community and ensuring the smooth running of the School. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to work supportively and effectively as part of a team, as well as innovatively and independently. Candidates will need good knowledge of running a School Office and a variety of IT systems focused to administrative, Financial and organisational processes.

The Purpose of this Role:-
• Under the instruction/guidance of senior staff, be responsible for undertaking administrative/Financial, organisational processes within the School.
• Assist with the planning and development of Support Services.
Expectation and Outcomes of this Role:-
Organisation
• Be the First point of contact for the School either face to face, by telephone or email.
• Deal sensitively with matters raised at the School Office by visitors etc.
• Liaise with parents and external agencies to ensure the smooth running of the School.
• Contribute to the planning, development and organisation of Support Service systems/procedures/policies.
• Liaise with other Office staff to organise School trips/events, etc.
Administration
• Manage manual and computerised record/information/ordering and accounting systems.
• Analyse and evaluate data/information and produce reports, information and data as required.
• Undertake typing and word processing and complex IT-based tasks.
• Provide personal (administrative and organisational) support to the Governing Body.
• Undertake administration of complex procedures.
• Complete and submit complex forms, returns, etc, including those to outside agencies, e.g, Welsh Government.
• Manage the procedures for notifying the relevant body of staffing/Payroll changes for implementation.
Resources
• Operate relevant Equipment/complex ICT packages such as SIMS, Agresso, Parent Pay, Staff Resource link, etc
• Monitor and manage stock within an agreed budget, cataloguing resources and undertaking audits as required.
• Oversee other sales within the School.
• Provide advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others.
• Undertake Research and obtain information to inform decisions.
• Assist with procurement and sponsorship.
• Assist with marketing and promotion of the School.
• Manage administration of facilities, including use of School premises.
• Undertake complex Financial administration including HR and Payroll procedures.
