Job Description

This is a fixed term position for 32.5 hours per week until 31/08/24 with the possibility of extension depending upon curriculum demand.

Come and take the subject lead for Welsh in a friendly and collaborative area of learning in a successful all age school in one of the most beautiful settings in Wales.

Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi VA is a 3-16 Church in Wales school that serves the historic city of St Davids and surrounding areas. Based in the picturesque Pembrokeshire National Park, the school is a caring, inclusive and welcoming environment where pupils and staff are proud of the Christian and community ethos. The school is a central feature of the community. There are extensive opportunities for outdoor sports and recreational pursuits along with an extensive programme of social and cultural activities.

The school is looking to appoint a forward-thinking and innovative practitioner who is passionate about the curriculum changes taking place currently within Wales and would like the opportunity to translate these ideas into practice.
