We're looking for a new Triage Officer to join our friendly employability team when Bernie, our current Triage Officer, retires at the end of March.
Conwy Employment Hub delivers a range of employability support to unemployed people living in Conwy county with complex barriers, including the Welsh Government's Communities for Work Plus programme. The Team is made up of a number of specialist employment mentors and engagement staff.
The Triage Officer is a key role within our team as they act as the first point of contact for people wanting help finding work as well as partner organisations wanting to refer people to us. You will be responsible for assessing and prioritising people who contact us or directing them to other appropriate support locally.
You will need to be confident, friendly, approachable and empathetic with excellent organisation and communication skills and be confident using a range of IT systems including good keyboard skills.
On occasion you will also be expected to travel to different partner and community venues across Conwy county to help enrol and engage with people out in the community.
You will work Monday to Friday, up to 37 hours a week, from our state of the art, open plan offices in central Colwyn Bay, with the option to work from home on occasion following a period of training and development.

This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, ie a balance of office and home working.
