The role offers an exciting innovative opportunity for an individual to join the Safeguarding and Learner Wellbeing team. This individual will lead on the development, implementation, co-ordination and promotion of a comprehensive and proactive online and in-person Health and Wellbeing, Safeguarding and active well-being provision for learners.
Salary Details: BS26-29 - £30,000 - £33,333 per annum
This is a 4-point extended scale with progression incrementally on an annual basis. Please note, progression beyond the bar is dependent on an internal set of conditions. Commencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College's starting salaries matrix.
Hours of work:Full-time 37 hours per week

Qualifications: It is essential to hold a minimum level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline
Experience: It is essential to have demonstrable experience of:
Involvement in a health-related /learner/ person centred role, a commitment to active well -being, emotional literacy, resilience, mental/ emotional health, safeguarding and awareness of trauma informed practice. It is also essential to have strong administrative skills, and experience of using the advanced features of Microsoft Software.
It is desirable to have experience of: Developing websites or other digital platforms, organising events, and working in a professional role with young adults where exemplary communication skills and empathy are required.
