Play Supervisor - Dewstow Primary and Nursery School

Dewstow Primary and Nursery School has a vacancy for a Midday Supervisor post to join our team of midday supervisors.
You will need to be reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable.
The position is 1 hour per day term time only. The successful candidate will report to the Headteacher.
We are looking for somebody who enjoys motivating children and has the ability to co-
ordinate and supervise activities and to promote positive social skills. You would be a good
role model reflecting the ethos of our school.
You would be responsible for working with a small team of Midday Supervisors following theduty rota to:
• Ensure that all children are supervised whilst eating lunch in the hall
• Organise and support children in playing games and being physically active during the lunchbreak
• Promote health eating and good behaviour in line with our behaviour policy
• Supervise children with Additional Learning Needs
• Liaise with staff about lunchtime at the end of each session
The successful candidate will be friendly, flexible, hardworking and a good team player.
