The Governing Body at Cyfarthfa High School is excited to appoint an outstanding and professional Deputy Headteacher to join our leadership team to take forward our school. The wellbeing of the school community is at the centre of the ethos of Cyfarthfa High School. Our school holds a strong position within the town of Merthyr Tydfil and is proud to contribute to the wider local community.

Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader who has a clear and compelling vision and a strong belief in the importance of education, supporting the Headteacher and working with the Senior Leadership Team to drive the school's mission. You will enable learners to become ambitious, capable and well-rounded citizens through high quality learning and teaching in a supportive environment.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all applicants. This will include an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
