Unqualified: £24,049 - £28,381 per annum

Qualified: £30,620 - £47,331 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Lecturer in Mathematics to join our passionate and enthusiastic team at Bridgend College.

Job Purpose: To plan, develop, evaluate and deliver Mathematics GCSE programmes for the Junior Apprenticeship 14 - 16 year old learners and to evaluate outcomes.

You will have a proven record of developing and organising work related materials and experience of delivering GCSE Maths and pre-GCSE Maths. You should also hold a PGCE certificate (or be prepared to obtain this) along with a knowledge of current WJEC Mathematics and Essential Skills Numeracy up to Level 2 specifications. With excellent interpersonal skills you will have previous experience of working with young people with complex social, behavioural and or emotional difficulties and have the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population. You will also be passionate about motivating all learners.
