Permanent Mobile Catering Assistant,
Grade 02 £11.59 an hour
15 hours per week, term time only
We are seeking a permanent mobile catering assistant to cover for staff absences with the school meals catering service in Wrexham.
The successful applicant must have use of a vehicle, a valid insurance policy to include business cover, road tax and a full licence. Travel expenses will be paid for business mileage from base kitchen to schools within the area.
Main Duties Include-
1 - Basic preparation of food and beverages, eg preparing vegetables, fruit and salads.
2 - Simple cooking duties, such as preparation of snack items.
3 - General kitchen and dining room duties, eg washing up, moving dining tables and
Chairs, clearing away dining room.
4 - Cleaning the kitchen, equipment and surroundings.
5- Transporting and serving meals when required.
6- Any duties commensurate with nature and grade of post, as instructed by the Cook
In Charge.
7 - Operation of a computerised school meals administration system.
