Would you like to work in our newly built state of the art High school in one of the most beautiful areas of Wales?

If so we would welcome an application from you for the post of Deputy Headteacher.

We are looking for a professional who would strategically manage the academic provision for all pupils in the school and professional learning for staff. Currently this role also includes working with our Cluster Primary Schools and overseeing provision provided by the Pre-16 education grants although some responsibilities may be adjusted after appointment.

The successful candidate will join a Senior Leadership team that comprises the Headteacher, Senior Deputy Headteacher, 3 Assistant Headteachers and the School Business Manager. We are looking for an inspiring person with a strong and clear background of achieving high educational standards, with clear motivation and first-class management and leadership skills.

Monday 20th May and Tuesday 21st May 2024 - Selection process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a two-day selection process, which will involve a range of activities to assess applicant's skills in relation to the person specification including a formal interview.

The Governing Body may decide not to take all candidates through to the second day of the process.
