The post holder will be well supported by the education directorate and encouraged to apply their psychological knowledge to promote the organisational change that is needed to meet the changing needs of the local community. Maintaining oversight of the delivery of direct psychological services to individual learners and their families is also a key aspect of the role. A working knowledge of the ALNET Act (2018) and The Additional Learning Needs Code for Wales (2021) would be advantage, but can be acquired in post.

You will be working in Swansea which is fast becoming one of the most popular places to live in the UK. It has stunning coastal scenery, many beautiful parks and frequently hosts spectacular sporting, musical and cultural events.

Relocation allowance is possible dependent on circumstances.
