This role is a permanent, fractional post and involves delivery of the WJEC A level History curriculum. - Part time, 18.5 hours per week

- £24, 049 - £47,331 pro rata (depending on qualifications and/or experience)
- Based in Gorseinon Campus
- To work with the team to deliver A level History ensuring excellence in teaching, learning and assessment across both AS and A2 courses.
- To plan, prepare and teach A Level History ensuring schemes of work and assessments are appropriate to the exam board specification.
- To ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned to meet the varied needs of learners.
- To work with the Curriculum Leader and Learning Area Manager to set targets and monitor performance in recruitment, attendance, retention, attainment and successful completion.
- To keep up to date with curriculum developments, subject knowledge and innovations in teaching and learning.
- Possess a relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification.
- Are able to demonstrate highly successful experience of teaching A level History and a passion for the subject.
- A very confident communicator and committed individual who can engage and inspire learners of all abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and a team player.
- The ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of learners.
- 28/46 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the college is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period
