26.25 HOURS PER WEEK (9am- 3.15pm with Half an hour lunch break)
2.5 HOURS PER WEEK lunchtime duty
TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE

The governors of St Mary's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and innovative team within our very happy, caring and inclusive school community.
The successful applicant will:
â" Actively promote the school's ethos of inclusion and celebrate the diverse nature of our school
â" Work within our inclusive Foundation Phase setting providing 1:1 support for a pupil with medical/learning needs (training will be provided)
â" Work closely with the class teachers, delivering targeted interventions to assist the pupil to make progress
â" Support the pupil to work within the classroom environment and within a small group/ 1-1 basis focusing on the individual pupil's targets
â" Work alongside the class teacher/s and teaching assistants to establish positive working relationships with parents and relevant outside agencies to support the pupil's needs
â" Deliver intimate and personal care
â" Be physically able to support/ lift pupil/s, if required
â" Good ICT skills and be able to use IT equipment confidently
â" Experience of working with pupils with medical needs and additional learning needs is most desirable
