Class teacher with TLR for leadership - Berriew CP School

Part Time 0.4 (Fixed Term) Teacher from 1st September 2024 to End of Spring term 2026. ( Date to be confirmed )

Berriew is a small yet successful, village School at the heart of its community. We currently have 98 pupils on role, and we pride ourselves on being caring, creative and supportive.

The Governing Body of Berriew School is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced professional to support the schools' leaderships team. We are looking for candidates who have a proven record of successful leadership, good interpersonal skills, who can motivate and inspire others. The postholder will work in our Year 3 and 4 class 2 days a week (days to be decided).

The successful candidate will need to be:

• caring, supportive and work as part of a dedicated team
• passionate about teaching and learning and have high expectations of pupils.
• Share the leadership of the school and have a good track record of delivering initiatives and supporting others.
• demonstrate excellent classroom practice.
• show a willingness to foster our community links.
• show an excellent understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
