Education Welfare Officer - Education Support

An exciting opportunity arisen within the Education Welfare Team for an experienced Education Welfare Officer - Education Support.
The postholder will hold a caseload of young people across our schools who are at significant risk of educational disengagement. By using a child centered approach the postholder will be primarily concerned with developing and maintaining good working relationships with parents/carers, children and young people, headteachers, social care, health and other relevant professional staff.
You will need to be educated to a Level 3 in a professional qualification - Social Care, Health, Education or Youth Work.
Access to a vehichle for work purposes is a requirement of the role.
Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The post holder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
Closing Date: 30 th May 2024 - 12:00am, midnight
Interview Date: Monday 10 th June 2024
