Job Description
We are recruiting a Family Liaison Officer to work with our refugee families who have arrived on the ARAP Scheme. As a family liaison officer your role is pivotal to the successful integration of families into school settings.
The post holder will work between 3 schools in the Haverfordwest Catchment Area, Prendergast C.P School, Waldo Williams and Haverfordwest High VC School.
The successful applicant will work closely with Pembrokeshire County Council's Resettlement & Migration Support Team to ensure the families' needs are met. This includes but is not limited to:
It will be a requirement that you complete a diploma in Trauma Informed Schools and the MIDAS minibus training - both fully funded.
This is a 2 year fixed term post or secondment for 37 hours a week until 31 st March 2026. If you wish to apply for secondment please seek prior agreement from your Line Manager.

- Identifying any additional needs that may need to be met
- Helping children learn the English Language
