Blaengwawr Primary School is situated in the community of Aberaman in Aberdare and currently have 236 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 11. The school has strong links with the community and a supportive, pro-active governing body.
The Governing Body of this caring, inclusive school is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well-organised practitioner to join our staff team in the autumn term. The post is temporary for 1 year in the first instance.
The role will include teaching in our Nursery-Reception Unit 2 days per week and in our Year 6 class for 1 day per week. In addition, for the other 2 days each week there will be opportunities to teach in other classes within the school to cover courses and work with senior leaders to carry out family engagement activities, for example: develop and deliver a programme of curriculum-based workshops with parents and pupils.
