Lower School Class Teacher
One Year Contract

The children, staff and Governing Body at Tredegar Park Primary School are looking for an inspirational, forward thinking Class Teacher to join our teaching and learning team at this highly successful and nurturing school. We are looking for somebody with enthusiasm and energy to support the staff team as we continue to strive for excellence.

This will be an exciting role where the successful candidate will work with a partner Lower School Teacher to develop activities which allow all abilities to reach their true potential.

The children, staff and Governing Body are looking for a Class Teacher with experience and expertise in the area of outdoor learning. The successful candidate will be passionate about creating exciting learning opportunities for the children and staff at the school.

We are looking for somebody who:

• Is an outstanding practitioner to further enhance the excellent teaching
• Is a committed team player and role model with proven ability to lead, challenge and empower children and colleagues
• Is passionate about providing memorable learning opportunities for all children with an inspiring, creative curriculum
• Is enthusiastic, motivated, and caring – able to nurture children to achieve their potential
• Is able to embrace community partnerships and play an active role in fostering good links with parents and all stakeholders. This is particularly important when supporting families with our fluid learning approach.
• Is able to identify areas of improvement and contribute creatively to help to continue to improve our school

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
