We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Schools Catering Team. As the successful candidate, you will be able to transport and collect food boxes and meals to various school sites within Torfaen from the central transport kitchen and have some knowledge of Food Safety Regulations.
You will need:
- To work under the supervision of the Transport Cook and carry out any instructions given within the kitchen and loading of the meals.
- To be prepared to work at any reasonable time of day to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of the meals.
- To observe and comply with Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures.
- To undertake any training considered necessary for the post.
- To observe any requirements outlined by the Torfaen Catering Quality Procedural Manual in relation to quality standards.
- Responsibility for a Van to transport meals and equipment
- To be prepared to work additional hours as required due to absenteeism, increase in demand for meals.
