Job DescriptionThese are fixed term posts required until 31/08/2025.
Grade 3 - £22,737 for 31 hours per week for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £16,733.53 pro rata.
We require a Level 1 LSA to work within our Leaming Resource Centre this is a fixed term contract. The role involves supporting pupils with specific learning needs in one of our four LRC class bases. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Classroom Teacher or senior staff, and will provide support as a member of a highly committed and enthusiastic LRC team.
You will be required to assist the Class Teacher through participation in class, group and individual lessons. You will also be expected to assist in the preparation of materials and displays, clear away resources as required, and contribute to the delivery of individual education plans underthe direction of the Class Teacher/HLTA.
A good standard of education, and an understanding of children/ young people's needs and rights along with an understanding of child development and a real passion for working with children are essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills.
You will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) for this role.
