Croesyceiliog is looking for an inspiring teacher of Humanities (maternity) to join our dedicated team of professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a strong faculty in a highly ambitious school which is wholly focused on providing every opportunity for students to perform to their very best.

At Key Stage 4 we follow the WJEC specification. Humanities is a very popular AoLE at GCSE with consistently strong results. At Key Stage 3 Humanities is taught as discreet subjects - Geography, Religion, Values & Ethics and History.

Within our Humanities AoLE team there is a wealth of experience, good practice and commitment which prides itself on striving for excellence and high standards. We have one Leader of Faculty and two Head of Departments who strategically lead within the AoLE. We believe in collaboration and sharing of ideas to develop professional expertise to enhance the learning experiences of our students.

We seek an enthusiastic, innovative and dedicated colleague to make a positive contribution to the Humanities Faculty. The right candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the curriculum in line with Curriculum for Wales and have the possibility to teach across both key stages. Our aim at Croesyceiliog it to imbue students with our ethos of 'Learning, Respect and Ambition' so that all young people can achieve their full potential.

All new members of staff receive a very strong programme of induction, which includes an allocated member of staff to support with the operational elements of joining a new school, as well as a tailored support package to meet individual needs. All teaching staff are also issued with a school 2-in-1 laptop device.
