Implement effective systems to assess, report progress and analyse pupil progress
Set learning as a primary focus for planning, resource management, monitoring, review and evaluation

Promote and maintain high expectations of conduct and discipline
As a key member of the team, making a significant, positive and professional contribution to the future of the school

The successful candidate must have excellent teaching and interpersonal skills to ensure successful teamwork at the school and to maintain the high standards achieved at Ysgol Myrddin and a keen enthusiasm to support the school's extra-curricular activities.

DBS level: An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk

Welsh language level - Verbal: Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level
