About the Role
10 hours per week - 40 weeks per year

The Governing body seeks to appoint a school cleaner to join our team, working under the direction of the caretaker to ensure the school premises are clean.

The range of work carried out by the cleaning staff covers the cleaning of all rooms, toilets, corridors, offices and other such areas that are in use at the direction of the Caretaker. You will be expected to:

• Carry out work to the required standard as directed by the Caretaker
• Work cooperatively with the others on the site
• Comply with the Council's health and safety practices
• Use cleaning equipment and materials in the prescribed manner, ensuring safe usage and storage
• Complete any required paperwork
• Carry out any other reasonable work instructions
