The Play Service is seeking organised, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to take on the role of Site Supervisor during our summer holiday programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership position, overseeing the delivery of play and wellbeing activities and ensuring children and young people have safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experiences.
As the lead worker on site, you will be responsible for managing a team of paid staff and youth volunteers from the Youth Volunteer Project. Your role will involve coordinating daily activities, supporting your team, and ensuring that sessions run smoothly and effectively. Strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to inspire and guide others are essential.
This position offers excellent experience for those training to become teachers, social workers, or professionals in public services. It provides the chance to develop leadership skills, gain practical experience in managing teams, and make a meaningful impact on the wellbeing of children and young people.
The summer programme will run for four weeks, starting on Monday 27th July. To prepare, there will be a training week beginning Monday 20th July, where you will receive full training and support to equip you with the skills and confidence needed to lead successfully.
