Salary Scale 5/6: £27,492 - £33,299 (pro rata)

Full time (37 hours) and Term Time Only for 42 weeks

Fixed Term until 31st August 2025

Please note, actual salary will be based on the number of term time only weeks worked.

For the full 42 week contract this would be £25,456.84 - £30,833.97.

Job Purpose: To ensure college is a safe and inclusive environment for all students, to facilitate an accessible and non-judgmental wellbeing and safeguarding service and to respond to all safeguarding concerns following the appropriate guidance and legislation.

Safeguarding Level: Level 3 / DSL

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven track record of working with young people in group and individual situations
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering information and signposting young people to appropriate organisations
  • Knowledge and experience of networking with individuals and agencies
  • Knowledge and awareness of issues affecting young adults
  • Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding (Children and Adults) and Prevent Legislation
