Please note, this an hourly paid contract which means that specific days and hours cannot be guaranteed - they are offered on a casual, ad hoc basis to fit the needs of the service and so may vary.

Unqualified: £24,049 - £28,381 per annum (pro rata, hourly paid)
Qualified: £30,620 - £47,331 per annum (pro rata, hourly paid)

We are currently in search of enthusiastic and motivated individuals to teach on an hourly paid basis as part of the IT Department. Working as part of the team, you will be required to prepare, deliver and assess both theory and practical sessions, so you will have substantial experience of using initiative, creativity and judgement when delivering activities in an area that fits with the Curriculum.

We ask that you have an understanding of IT FE and HE qualification standards from Level 1 to Level 5, along with experience of programming and networking and ability to deliver this topic up to Level 5. You should also hold a relevant degree or equivalent industry experience, together with a PGCE certificate, or be prepared to obtain this. With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population you will be passionate about motivating all learners.
