Can you play a part in our successful music service?

We are a friendly team in Conwy Local Authority looking forward to the future, particularly in the view of the new National Music Plan by the Welsh Government.

We have an opening for an enthusiastic guitar and piano tutor, who can give weekly lessons to primary and secondary pupils but we welcome applications from tutors who are experienced in teaching a range of other instruments. Applications are invited from music tutors with appropriate qualifications and/or experience. The successful candidate is employed in accordance with the terms of supply teachers. It would be advantageous if the successful candidate was experienced in supporting groups/ensembles/orchestras and has experience of offering music curricular lessons in a class and/or has experience of using musical digital equipment.

Due to the nature of the post, the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check. The successful candidate is required to register with the Education Workforce Council before commencing employment in this post.
