Salary: Grade 3 - £22,737 pro rata

Job Description

Haverfordwest High VC School is seeking to appoint an EAL Teaching Assistant on a fixed term basis. The successful candidates would join us in working in an environment which promotes excellence, inclusion and high expectations.

Working under the direction of the ALNCo, you will provide support to EAL learners to access their learning and develop their language skills. A primary focus of this role will include creating, initiating and implementing programmes of work to support EAL pupils. Work may be carried out in the classroom or any other area of the school as required.

A good standard of education, an understanding of children/young peoples' needs and rights, together with experience of working with children is essential for this role.
