About the Role

As a Lecturer, you will teach effectively on courses within the Foundation Learning area and at a range of levels as agreed with your line manager. You will support learners over a range of levels who may have previously disengaged in education, have a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), or display some low level challenging behaviours to achieve successful outcomes. You will participate in retention and
recruitment activities as appropriate. You would set high expectations for learners and contribute to an
environment that encourages all learners to be aspirational. The succesful candidate will ideally have a background in Construction and be able to work with learners from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Further Information:

Staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd will have responsibility for the safeguarding and for the promoting the welfare of learner.
Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the College, either at your principal place of work or other College premises, commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the role.
