We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. The role:

To support the development and delivery of a broad range of easily accessible, high quality opportunities for students, to encourage physical activity and enhance healthy lifestyle behaviours.
  • Full time (37 hours per week)
  • Permanent
  • £24,131 - £26,268 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • To be responsible for the implementation and operation of GCS Active and LiveWell programmes within the college.
  • Working with faculties and services across campus to provide targeted and appropriate active wellbeing interventions for students;
  • To co-ordinate a timetable of active wellbeing sessions to be delivered by coaches and other relevant deliverers within the activities programme across the whole college community
About you:
  • 5 GCSE passes (grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent
  • Relevant Active Wellbeing or Sport/PE degree, or relative experience in these sectors
  • Experience of working on active wellbeing projects and events
  • Ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
