Role Title: Spa Supervisor

Coleg Cambria's Yale site is seeking a dedicated Spa Supervisor to lead our brand new state of the art 'Ial Spa'. This role will drive strategy and create a unique learner experience while maximising commercial opportunities. In this role, you will lead and develop the spa team, fostering a positive culture and ensuring alignment with industry goals and standards. Your responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, supervising daily activities, setting clear goals, monitoring and conducting performance reviews, and supporting the hiring and onboarding of new staff. You will be a role model and mentor to learners studying within the department, demonstrating exceptional industry standards. You will also address client complaints promptly, oversee reception duties, conduct client consultations, deliver services and drive product and treatment sales to meet targets.

As a primary contact for staff and students, you will guide learners, identify enrichment activities, and contribute to advertising, social media, and events to boost the spa's visibility and brand image. You will conduct regular stocktaking, manage inventory levels, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement. Your attention to inventory management will ensure smooth operations, guaranteeing product availability while maintaining a strategic approach to stock control.

You will build relationships with stakeholders and community groups to facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and networking sessions, supporting all departmental promotions and events. Essential Requirements
  • Minimum level 3 Beauty or Spa Therapy based qualification
  • Grades A-C in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Proven recent experience in a supervisory role within the spa industry. Experience in customer service and stock management
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Strong marketing and sales abilities

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
