i.e. 46.09% = £13,490 - £14,455

Part time (3 days) and Fixed term (1 Academic Year initially, to be reviewed)

Required for September 2nd 2024 .

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an outstanding HLTA on a part time basis, with the qualities and skills to work with the whole school team to achieve aspirational outcomes for its pupils. We need an inspirational, dedicated and enthusiastic practitioner to build on the success of the school and to be committed to taking it into its next stage of development. The successful candidate will be responsible for cover PPA across the school.

The successful applicant will have:
• Be an excellent, energetic and focused classroom practitioner, able to lead whole classes,
• Hiigh expectations of all pupils in the areas of achievement and behaviour,
• The ability to work proactively, to plan and deliver activities to enable pupils to make progress,
• Effectively mark pupil work, using feedback and assessment tools where appropriate to ensure progress,
• Enthusiasm and the ability to inspire pupils to achieve the very best outcomes,
• Up to date knowledge of ALN transformation and Curriculum for Wales ,
• An understanding of curriculum development, progress and assessment and pedagogy,
• An ability to teach Welsh in the Primary Curriculum,
• The ability to work effectively with staff, governors, parents and the wider community
