We are looking for a Data Manager, who will lead for collecting, maintaining, managing and updating all learner records held on school information management systems (primarily SIMS), all data report collation and reporting, and be the lead POC for external learner data stakeholders.

The successful candidates will:
  • Manage all learner data in all formats across school information systems.
  • Analyse and evaluate learner data/information and produce reports/information/data as and when requested by SLT and key external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all data related reports are completed within stipulated timelines, including the regular provision of PLASC data for the Local Authority.
  • Support the School Business Manager in meeting GDPR requirements.
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance, as required
  • In conjunction with the Network Manager, carry out back-ups, data recovery, archiving, housekeeping and other maintenance tasks on a regular, and as required basis.
  • Provide SME advice and guidance to staff on all school data related issues.
  • Support the development of data systems and processes to improve efficiency and help streamline admin functions of the school.
