Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Pont Fach Assessment Base

Pont Fach Assessment Base is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and caring Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning within our behaviour assessment centre. You should be suitably qualified and experienced and committed to furthering your own professional development. This appointment is offered on a fixed term basis, to commence on 1 st September 2024.

The successful candidate will have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as a genuine commitment to the overall care and development of the children. Experience of working with children with additional educational needs/challenging behaviour is essential as desirable.

This fixed term position is offered as follows: 30.5 hours/week.

Pattern of Work: Monday 9.00am - 3:30pm, Tuesday 9.00am - 3.30pm, Wednesday 9.00am - 4.00pm, Thursday 9.00am - 3.30pm, Friday 9.00am - 3:30pm.

Holidays must be taken during school closure periods.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
