£11.79 - £11.98 per hour

£7,692 - £7,819 per annum

Midday Supervisory Assistant

G02 2.5 hours per week

£11.59 per hour

£1,261 per annum

TEMPORARY POSITION

Start date: 4th September 2024.

The Governing Body seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role will primarily be working to support a pupil to access the curriculum and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. The role also includes 2.5 hours as a Midday Supervisory Assistant.

This role will be in a mixed Reception and Year 1 class every morning and supervise lunchtimes for pupils across the school. It will be under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher.

Experience of working with younger pupils with additional needs is desirable. Candidates should be able to work on their own and as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential and an understanding of pupils with varying needs.
