The Governing Body of Ysgol Tanyfron is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, hard-working and creative Level 1 teaching assistant who is committed to supporting and promoting positive pupil well-being and learner experiences as well as working towards continuing their own professional development.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a class teacher to support targeted pupils within a safe, stimulating, purposeful environment where every pupil is valued and supported to reach their full potential.

We are a dedicated, friendly and supportive team; committed to achieving the best for all. Experience of working alongside Nursery, Reception and Year 2 and 3 aged children is desirable, alongside any experience of working with additional learning needs. The ability to be an excellent communicator whilst having a good level of literacy and numeracy skills is essential. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. The role will also involve mid-day supervision.

The position will be on a temporary basis starting from the 1 st September 2024.
