Job Purpose -

As a Lecturer in Management and Professional Qualifications, your primary role is to facilitate the learning and development of students in the field of Accounting and Finance, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to excel in their chosen professions. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lectures, designing curriculum and assessments, and providing academic and professional guidance to students throughout their educational journey.

You will play a vital role in shaping the future of students pursuing careers in accounting and finance fields. Your dedication to imparting knowledge, fostering critical thinking, and supporting their growth is essential in preparing them for success in their chosen professions. Overview

Course Delivery: Deliver lectures, seminars, workshops, and tutorials on various accounting and finance qualification courses, ensuring that content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.

Curriculum Development: Collaborate with academic colleagues to design and update curriculum materials, incorporating the latest trends, theories, and best practices in accounting and finance fields.

Assessment and Evaluation: Create fair and comprehensive assessments to measure students' understanding and progress. Provide timely feedback on assignments, projects, and examinations to support their learning.

Student Support: Offer academic guidance and mentorship to students, helping them set and achieve their educational and career goals. Address individual needs and challenges through regular office hours and communication.

Professional Development: Stay informed about developments in the field of accounting and finance qualifications, attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your own knowledge and teaching skills.

Research and Scholarship: Engage in research activities related to your field of expertise, contribute to scholarly publications, and participate in relevant research projects to enhance the academic reputation of the institution.

Administrative Duties: Fulfil administrative responsibilities, such as maintaining accurate records of student progress, attendance, and grades, and participating in department meetings and committees.

Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve teaching methods and materials based on feedback from students and peers, as well as evolving industry demands.
